Step 01
Awareness Meeting
Conducting informative sessions to educate the community about the benefits of biogas plants — renewable energy generation, waste management, and reduced environmental impact. Emphasising sustainable energy solutions and how biogas can improve quality of life while reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
Step 02
Site Survey Analysis
Assessing potential sites for biogas plant installation — considering proximity to organic waste sources, accessibility, and land availability. Evaluating feasibility including environmental considerations, proper waste disposal, and safety regulations.
Step 03
Collecting Beneficiary Information
Engaging with interested individuals or communities to gather information regarding energy needs, waste production, and financial capabilities. Assisting applicants in filling forms and providing guidance throughout the application process, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
Step 04
Pit Digging
Excavating and preparing the designated area for biogas plant construction, ensuring proper dimensions and adequate depth. Collaborating with labour and equipment providers to complete the pit digging process efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
Step 05
Material Transportation
Coordinating the transportation of construction materials — bricks, cement, pipes, and other components — to the site. Ensuring timely delivery and efficient handling of materials, optimising logistics for smooth construction progress.
Step 06
Construction of Biogas Plants
Utilising skilled labour and construction expertise to assemble the biogas plant structure — including the digester, inlet/outlet pipes, gas storage system, and safety features. Following engineering specifications and quality standards to ensure durability and functionality.
Step 07
Training on Dung Mixture
Conducting comprehensive training sessions on the preparation and mixing of organic waste — animal dung and agricultural residue — for efficient biogas production. Providing hands-on demonstrations on maintaining correct mixture ratios and temperature conditions within the digester.
Step 08
Stove Fitting and Operating
Installing biogas stoves and associated gas supply systems in beneficiaries' households, enabling them to utilise biogas for cooking and heating. Educating users on safe operation and maintenance of biogas stoves, emphasising proper ventilation and gas control measures.
Step 09
Training and Awareness Program
Organising follow-up sessions to enhance beneficiaries' knowledge of biogas plant maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal gas production. Continuously promoting long-term benefits of biogas plants, fostering a sense of ownership and sustainability.
